Lovelace and her guardian Oscar enter the race to teach her father a lesson. The race uses several vehicles including hovercraft, biplanes, and subs. Team 4 cheats to win including having spikes from their hubs. Lovelace wreck her boat on the first water leg and Speed saves her from sharks. On the air leg team 4 uses both a blade and a long cable to knock several planes including Speed's out of the sky.
