Former fashion model and choreographer André Nunes had everything to live for, so his disappearance in September 2005 was completely out of character. André's family were worried by the fact that the door on his flat appeared to have been forced opened and that his disappearance bore all the hallmarks of a kidnapping. The police investigation centred on the estate where he lived in Birmingham but detectives encountered frightened witnesses who were too afraid to talk.
