He then describes meeting a group of galactic ambassadors, whose appearances vary widely. As part of this group, he earns a vote to allow the people of Earth to make a transition to join the galactic community. Then begins the work of finding ways to help Earth make this transition, and the challenges of dealing with the different levels of awareness of Earthlings, not all of whom appear ready for this.
